Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The position works out of our office in Jupiter, FL. This position supports the Company's financial objective by managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting and payroll department. The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting or similar field, a minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education. We are looking for someone with proficient skills in MS Office and accounting software; experience in QuickBooks is required; prior experience in analyzing business performance, running financial reports, and completing month-end and year-end close is required.Essential FunctionsInclude the following:

Oversee the general accounting function, consolidation of all our businesses and subsidiaries, recordkeeping and reporting systems which includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet managementReconcile cash deposits with collections recorded in POS system as well as against bank activity, report results on a regular basis to managementMonitor and analyze accounting data; develop and run regular financial statements, including cash flow, P&L, income statements, and balance sheets.Responsible for month-end closing and year-end closing including posting journal entries, reconciliation of account balances and general ledger accounts, and distributing 1099 formsWork with and coordinate with CPA quarterly and monthly tax returns, as well as operation and business taxesResponsible to ensure that credit risk is balanced with business objectives, targets are met and that only valid claims with proper management authorization are paidProvides technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to all company entitiesEnsure that company financial records, under responsibility, are maintained in compliance with company policies and US GAAP. Responsible for reviewing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents to ensure this complianceAssist and manage payroll reconciliations, in regard, to general ledger and insurances.Accounts Payable ensure all bills are recorded and paid in a timely manner. Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; Minimum 3 years experienceStrong financial background is preferredExperience with QuickBooks Enterprise, Excel & Word.Team builder with ability to relate to and work with diverse communities effectivelyAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamAbility to prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneouslySelf-motivated, with ability to work with little direct supervisionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccuracy and attention to detail is essentialCommitment to excellent customer service to internal and external partiesStrong analytical and computer skillsWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment.
