Are you looking to join such a team?This is a fast-paced, challenging position, where high performance and quick action is expected supporting the Flight Test senior manager and direct staff, other engineering managers and all staff for the RMS Sikorsky WPB flight test engineering (FTE) team. The administrative support specialist will primarily support the RMS Sikorsky WPB FTE team; however, will also provide support to the CH-53K FTE team in Pax River, MD as needed. In addition, this position will support overall site meeting and event coordination, as well as supporting visiting customers and Lockheed Martin executives. Support includes overall administrative assistance, calendar, and travel. Our Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:* Provide support for business operations including: coordinate, compile and prepare documentation and reports: compile and edit weekly and monthly status reports and IOIs; edit and release department procedures and work instructions.* Ensure that requests for action or information are relayed to the appropriate staff members as needed.* Experience using SAP P2P to create purchase requisition, order/maintain office supply inventory, printer inventory/supplies, Pcard purchases, event card, travel card and reconciliations.* Perform additional special assignments as required in support of the FTE staff.* Support RMS internal/external customer visits by setting up and coordinating visit requests via LM Security, interface during visits and meetings. Assist visitor with maps, directions, hotel accommodations, local amenities, and internal resources and provide visitors with local instructions and resource requirements. Support planning and arranging customer visits, setup of meetings, and coordination of visit requests with LM Security* Prioritize, plan, and organize team events and execution of employee morale, employee events, community engagement / volunteer events such as group outings, luncheons, all-hands-meetings, etc.* Support hiring managers with new employee onboarding with tasks including setup desk, phone, etc.* Maintain computer asset tracking, fire drill, organizational charts, and other misc. rosters* Provide calendar management coordination and conference room reservations.In addition to the responsibilities highlighted above we offer extensive benefits to include competitive 401k and insurance. We are seeking a candidate with a professional demeanor who is well-spoken, efficient and polished. This position requires an individual that has excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and is highly dependable. This position is often the first person many visitors to the site meet so the selected individual must be able to represent the FTE organization a site ambassador with enthusiasm, diplomacy, and integrity.A high school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks and a minimum of 3 years of experience.Additionally, the individual must:* Be able to work independently with little direction.* Have experience and be proficient using Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Confluence, Slack, Box, and SharePoint.* Have experience using SAP P2P, creating purchase requisitions, and ordering office supplies.* Have excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) and teamwork skills.* Be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.* Be highly organized and possess ability to interact with all levels of management and external organizations.* Have the ability and willingness to support and meet tight deadlines, while staying focused on policies and procedures are critical.* Strong team interaction and able to work independently, with proven ability to multi-task and drive closure in a fast-paced environment.* Be able to determine priorities of non-routine situations and will participate and lead miscellaneous projects and/or initiatives as needed, including support for department staff.* Have demonstrated ability to evaluate job duties for effective prioritization and recommend solutions for improving office efficiency* Have the ability to manage leader's emails and calendar.* Be proficient with Travel tools such as Concur; reservations and expense reconciliation
