Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing Speech-Language Therapy services in a K-12 educational setting offers a rewarding opportunity to support student communication and learning development. This contract position is based in the Southeast Florida Coast area, primarily serving schools in Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie, FL, from the start date as soon as possible through June 2, 2026. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with caseloads and assignments customized based on individual school settings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language pathology services to students ranging from pre-K through grade 12. Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement effective communication intervention plans. Maintain clear, documentation and communicate progress with parents and school staff. Provide services in diverse environments, including general education settings and specialized clusters such as DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) programs. Preferred Qualifications: Active Florida state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with school-age populations, including children with special education needs. Ability to work independently while coordinating with onsite staff and therapy assistants. Professionalism and adaptability for varying school assignments, frequently focused on a single campus. Assignment Locations and Schedules: Bayshore Elementary School, Port St. Lucie, FL: Full-time, serving ESE Pre-K with two other full-time SLPs onsite. Oak Hammock K-8, Port St. Lucie, FL: Part-time, two days per week, supported by one full-time SLP and one SLPA, specializing in DHH services.
