IT Business Applications Engineer LOCATION: Jupiter, FL**This position is 100% ONSITE in Jupiter, FL it is NOT Remote**
JOB SUMMARY The IT Business Applications Engineer is responsible for the execution of IT strategies and policies. Manages the local IT applications landscape and is the liaison for all business functions. Ensures professional support to the business and leads continuous improvement of IT applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:-- Implements IT policies and the local IT strategy to fully support business objectives and strategy in alignment with the Head of IT.-- Manages and monitors third party vendors for all IT business applications aspects, including local service providers (e.g. helpdesk contractor).-- Supports the Head of IT in the implementation of the Cyber Security Policies.-- Gathers Business requirements, writes specifications in cooperation with the business owner, and addresses them with the Head of IT.-- Develops and manages current and future local application map and related documentation in close cooperation with business stakeholders.-- Manages local applications including product evaluation, implementation, license administration, corrective maintenance, release management, installations, trouble shooting-- Plans and manages application improvement initiatives and projects in close cooperation with business owners. -- Ensures effective IT communication to end users, management, contractors, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.-- Acts as the primary point of contact for end user requests beyond helpdesk requests. -- Reviews and ensures compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and other IT requirements.-- Interacts closely and aligns priorities, activities, and project execution with the Head of IT.-- Other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation & Training-- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field -- Certifications (SAP, CRM, ITIL) a plus-- Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by EHS Training Matrix
Skills/Experience

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with responsibility for business applications, and contract and service management
• Ability to work a flexible workday with little to no advance notice.
• Mid to Advanced level of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Mid to Advanced level of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
• Mid to Advanced level of PLM systems (TeamCenter preferred)
• Entry to Mid level of software purchases and licensing, cloud service providers (Azure, AWS), software deployment, web services, scripting languages
• Proven domain expertise in enterprise applications
• Ability to manage complexity
• Service orientated
• Excellent communication skills
• Process-oriented thinking, strong planning and project management skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player with the ability to work independently
