Job Responsibilities:

Own day-to-day social media planning and execution across the brand's program, including management/curation of editorial calendars, content creation for key business lines, and post scheduling

Manage and distribute the master editorial content calendar for the Santander brand in partnership with internal partners, inclusive of paid and organic campaigns, employer brand initiatives, and key communication efforts that are critical to the brand message

Collaborate with internal and external business and agency partners to create engaging, relevant, on-brand content tailored to each channel in a variety of formats from photo imagery to graphics, GIFs, video and more

Manage social media content creation process from start to finish, inclusive of input and creative brief development, project management with agency partners, internal review socialization, and approval workflows

Lead project management workflow processes for documentation of key approvals

Ensure content captured/developed for social channels within the team and by other contributors aligns with the established Brand creative standard and supports the Brand vision and goals (be a steward of our brand)

Regularly collaborate with other key teams (Consumer Marketing, Communications, DEI, etc.) to manage messaging needs and coordinate actions across the social media program

Stay current on social media and platform best practices; distribute those learnings to internal teams to guide content planning and creative development

Ensure performance learnings are used to inform future campaign/concept designs

Support the Associate Director of Social and Content on strategic evolution of social media to build the brand and deliver on key marketing objectives

Assist with process and procedure documentation as necessary to optimize social media programming and execution to industry standard

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Design or equivalent field

3+ years of social media marketing experience, agency experience with emphasis in content creation, social and digital platforms, and execution preferred

Financial Services or other regulated industry experience a plus, but not required

Self-starter who can manage projects independently with a hands-on approach, a good sense of prioritization, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Expandable capacity / excellent project and time management skills

Creative thinker, team player, and positive influencer

Deep understanding and experiences with the current social landscape including platform capabilities, trends, and best practices for established social platforms (e.g. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and more emergent ones (Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.)

Experience with social analytics and social media management tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Hootsuite)

Ability to interpret performance into actionable insights and takeaways for the brand and apply learnings to future work

Maintain high standards in every aspect of your work and continually raise the bar

Strong written and oral communication skills to articulate strategic decisioning and rationale for creative projects and executional needs

Understands regulatory implications of social media to financial services industry (e.g. able to identify opportunities for risk and ways to mitigate it with specific controls)

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
