Looking for Physician: Jupiter Medical Center has a full-service, twenty-seven bed Emergency Department offering our community emergency medical care twenty-four hours a day. The department staff consists of Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians, Board Certified Pediatricians, clinically trained Emergency Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Registration & Clerical Staff and Case Management.Candidates must be BC/BP in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) (AOBEM).The Emergency Department has seen a significant volume growth averaging 7% annual increase each of the past three years. The total ED volume is 40,000 patient visits with about 12% pediatric. Our admission rate averages 23%.Hours of Physician & APP Coverage:

• 41 hours of Emergency Physician
• 24 hours of Pediatrician
• 24 hours of Advanced Practice Providers The ED maintained an exceptionally low rate of elopements averaging 0.5% Left Without Being Seen! The ED also enjoys one of the highest Patient Satisfaction ratings in South Florida with our most recent report card indicating that 99% of patients seen in our ED are likely to recommend Jupiter Medical Center to friends and family for care! ED Physicians and Nurses at Jupiter Medical Center are in the ninetieth plus percentile top box ranking and received an award from Healthstream for the highest patient satisfaction ranking in the region. One of the ways we've accomplished streamlining care and reducing the elopement rate is by placing a physician in triage during peak volume hours.
