Qualifications The Educator is responsible for the delivery of
safe, effective and quality patient-family centered care in the
Operating Room (OR) and other areas of the perioperative services
for all patient populations. What you will do in this role: -
Expertise in the area of Operating room specialty The coordinator
provides expertise care and management of the perioperative
specialty. - Patient Rights The RN will work to support and protect
the rights of each patient served. Adheres to established hospital
and department guidelines & protocols. Supports hospital mission,
vision and values. - Patient/Family Education Provides
patient/family education as per department and hospital policy and
procedure. - Job Knowledge The RN demonstrates technical expertise
in areas appropriate to the Unit’s patient population. - Equipment
Usage Uses and maintains department equipment according to
department and hospital policies. - Information Management/PI Uses
and follows hospital and department standards pertaining to
information management and performance improvement. - Safety &
Disaster Supports Hospital's/Department’s Safety and Disaster
Plans. - Age Specific Criteria Communicates and interacts with
internal and external customers of various ages taking into
consideration the population served. - Attendance Supports hospital
and department objectives by adhering to attendance policies. -
Attitude/Cooperation Reflects values and a sensitivity to HCA's
ethical and compliance principles in daily activities. Demonstrates
good skills in all forms of communication. Works well with others

resolving areas of concern. What qualifications you will need: -
Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact
Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements,
including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration
provisions) - Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date -
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be
obtained within 30 days of employment start date - 2 Years
Associate Degree/Diploma - 4 years Bachelor Degree preferred - 1
year minimum experience in OR HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is
located in west Miami-Dade County. Our acute care facility has
417-beds. Our services include trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and
children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services. We
