Job:Provide leadership in the production areas for all
Manufacturing Engineering personnel to ensure that quality products
are manufactured to meet the production plan related to projects
and project design. Place customer service and accountability to
the customer as the constant goal. Coordinate closely with other
departments on operational and planning issues related to meeting
the production plans and company goals.Key
Activities/Responsibilities:Job Functions:
- Supervise, develop, provide feedback, and coach employees.
- Complete performance reviews on a semi-annual basis.
- Performs and assists employees with daily timekeeping.
- Coordinate activities to support the production and project
schedules.
- Initiate, drive, and complete projects within the manufacturing
areas; create and coordinate equipment designs with external
vendors.
- Participate in process related issues using thorough technical
process knowledge to make timely decisions to ensure that OEE and
other business goals are achieved.
- Review, approve, write, and revise SOP's and other
documentation (PLC, ITCR).
- Participate on OpEx teams and attend training sessions as
required. Train department personnel on safety, cGMP and SOP as
needed.
- Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Packaging Engineering
on the transfer of new products and engineering studies.
- Asset and supply management. Generate required WOs, POs and
CERs.
- Serve as a backup for the Mfg Eng Supervisor.
- Assists with installation of new equipment. Part of FAT, SAT,
and Validation teams (may require international travel).
- Meets and maintains all required training during the year (SOP,
EHS, and HR).
- Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
- Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and
compliance within the respective area.
- Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as
reducing costs and OEE improvements.

Qualifications/Certifications/System Access:

- D2Qualifications/Training:
- HS diploma required. Engineering degree preferred.
- 5+ years of filling and packaging (primary, secondary,
tertiary) equipment projects, engineering, and design
solutions.
- Demonstrated exceptional people management and leadership
skills.
- Detail oriented. Makes decisions based on reason and data.
- Problem solving, facilitator and management skills.
Self-initiative.
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
Demonstrated analytical skills. Must be results oriented on a
continual basis.
- Computer literacy. SolidWorks or CAD or similar programs.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English and possess
basic math skills.This position may be available in the following
