Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Director of Information Technologylocal candidates only to evaluate existing systems and identify needs and strategies for upgrade or replacement and create a 3 to 5 year strategic plan. Reporting to the President, the Director of IT will be responsible for developing and executing IT strategy and aligning IT resources to achieve this strategy across multiple business channels. Prior experience managing and integrating catalog, retail and web-based systems is a requirement. Excellent communication and management skills are essential. The Director must collaborate with key executives to create a long-term technical vision for the company. Prior experience managing technical resources, including staff, hardware, infrastructure and applications, as well as experience in selecting and implementing ERP systems. Extensive knowledge of eCommerce and Web technologies, POS technologies and ERP systems required, including having already conducted an RFP process for evaluating solution alternatives in various technologies. Ability to lead management through a migration process, knowledge or experience in data warehousing, Escalate software, Linux, Oracle, OLAP tools, telephony, outsourcing and project management a plus. Managing networks, communications, security administration and database administration also a plus. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in a related field, or combination education and equivalent work experience 8-12 years I.T. experience 5 years I.T. management experience 3 years implementing eCommerce solutions Strong analytic and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written skills
