Job Description:

BHI Energy is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a year long contract in Jupiter, FL. Responsibilities:

• Provide technical interface with engineering firms on project developments
• Prepare/review engineering documents using applicable industry and regulatory standards
• Perform digital engineering, using data and technology, to produce engineering improvements
• Participate in a variety of projects, from minor software changes, up to and including large digital upgrades of safety related digital upgrades requiring prior NRC approval Education/Experience:
  • BSEE or Combination of education and experience providing equivalent job-related knowledge
  • Working knowledge of applicable industry and nuclear standards, including the industry standard design process, and 10CFR50.59
  • Knowledgeable in industry accepted digital design standards for both software life cycle management (such as NRC Regulatory Guide 1.173, IEEE 1074, and INPO Good Practice 10-008) and digital design changes (such as IEEE 7-4.3.2, RG 1.180, and BTP 7-19)
  • Prior experience in engineering project management is preferred.
