Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)95% - Operating under direct supervision, the candidate will be supporting RL10 Production & Development programs, including system integration, engine system development & verification, planning, test planning, testing in various environments, engine system and subsystem test, test equipment & facility coordination, test article assembly coordination & hardware assessment, instrumentation requirements and coordination, test readiness review & risk assessment and verification & test report documentation.10% - Limited travel in support of customer meetings an off-site testing as required.RequirementsBachelor's in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related technical discipline plus 2 years experience in a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A strong academic track record is required. An advanced degree is desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.Work Environment/Physical Requirements:Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
