The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day service and management of a commercial insurance book of business. The Account Manager is a reliable contributor to the Agency, as well as a consistent performer with a positive work ethic and continuous pursuit of professional development. This position is expected to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.

  • Market new and existing business
  • Prepare and manage submissions
  • Prepare proposals and renewal presentations for cargo clients on their own, as well as supply content for multi-line proposals for the general account team
  • Participate in exposure analysis, risk assessments and coverage analysis
  • Maintain accurate and complete client data What you need to have:
    
    • High school diploma or equivalent plus active 2-20 insurance license
    • 3+ years of commercial account management experience within an agency
    • Knowledge of certificates and additional insured requirements
    • Familiarity with construction markets (e.g. Auto Owners and US Assure) What makes you stand out:
