You will be a part of our Scheduling and Material Planning team which networks across all departments and plays a key role from proposal to product delivery. We are looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated, and organized individual. A successful candidate for this position will have a strong background in MRP/ERP (SAP, Oracle). Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)Working under general supervision:50% - Review Material Requirements Plan (MRP); problem-solve exception messages. Release Supplier Requisitions and Shop Orders for both Bill of Material (BOM) and independent demand requirements. Identify and initiate Program Inventory Surplus/Close Out.30% - Support Senior Analyst. Under general supervision, analyze program demand, create requisitions, initiate material transfers, update new master items Part Numbers, and other as required tasks. 10% - Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.10% - Engage in Career Development opportunities including APICS certification classes, Lean Six Sigma classes, and Emerging Leaders Program.RequirementsRequires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management/Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or other Technical Degree and at least three (3) years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).Additional Requirements:

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skill, as well as the ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel expected.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function / cross-site teams with a hands-on approach to process improvements.

  • Willingness to learn Material Requirements Planning (MRP) & Manufacturing Execution System (MES) (Delmia, ASCP, Oracle Enterprise Business Suite, MS Office)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a hands-on approach to process improvements.Desired Qualifications:
    • ERP/MRP Experience. Oracle/ Delmia / Windchill experience is preferred, but experience with any major ERP / MRP system is a plus.Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.Work Environment and Physical Requirements:Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
