We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Patient Services Representative

Responsibilities

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for scheduling all new patients for their initial visit, obtaining and verifying insurance information and providing the patient with any pertinent forms prior to their visit.
Provides primary patient scheduling support and directing calls to appropriate person or department
Obtains referral information and pertinent paperwork
Patient support related to their appointment and insurance
Maintains the integrity of all work processed and the pace in which work is complete
Consistent application of HIPPA compliance and rules across studies, and consistent application of study documents
Communicates with Clinical and non-clinical personnel
Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring Envision is as secure as possible.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred 0-2 years of related medical and/or healthcare experience
Data entry experience
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks
Communicate and work well in a team environment
Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
Ability to meet established production and quality goals/metrics
Ability to follow-up in a timely manner on open items
Able to effectively prioritize work on a daily basis
Flexibility to support change, with varying schedules as necessary
Microsoft Office Suite
Case Schedule program
EMR systems
